Institute of Para Medical Technology New Delhi (Gov Recognised)

Brief Introduction :

The above named institute is registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. It is also registered under Section 12A and exempted under section 80G of Income Tax Act for carrying out various Charitable Activities at the institution.

The main objectives of the institute is to impart training and education in Para Medical and related field to the general public and to provide well trained and para medical personnel to the society at large to help the government to achieve its goal “Health for all by “Health for all by 2000 A.D.” The other objectives of the institute includes.

To organise and conduct short and long term training courses and programmes in Para-Medical and related fields. To raise education standardes in the country in the para medical i.e. X-Ray Technology. Medical Laboratory Tech., Opthalmic Assistant, Dental Hygienist cum Mechanic, ECG Certificate Course (six months) and related fields. To conduct research activities award scholarships, prizes, award certificates or diploma. Inservice candidates of Deen Dayal Upadhaya Hospital, Hari Nagar, New Delhi were permitted to higher studies in Diploma in X-Ray Technology in 1995-96, 1995-97 & candidate from ESI Hospital, Bassi Darapur, New Delhi were permitted for higher studies in Diploma in X-Ray Technology in 1966-67.

This institute is also authorised for field practical training at various potential hospitals of Delhi which includes Majeedia Hospital, Hamdard University, Jamia Nagar, Charak Palika Hospital, N.DMC, Delhi, Lady Hardings Medical College & Hospitals, New Delhi, Central Hospital, Northern Railway, New Delhi, Northern Railway Divisional Hospital, New Delhi and Sanjeevan Medical Research Centre, Ansari Road, New Delhi etc.

The field training is only provided to the selected candidates depending on their performance in the half yearly examination.

*The Institute is recognised by Govt. of Nagaland (Health and Family Welfare Department) vide their letter no. MED/MISC-4/95 Kohima dated 14-12-2005 from Joint Secretary, Govt. of Nagaland, the diploma holder of this institute are working in various Government Hospitals. According to USQ No. 3675 dated 22/12/98, in Lok Sabha according to Minister of Labour, Government of India the names of deserving students can be registered in Employment Exchange in Delhi for the purpose of employment in Government/Non-Governmental organisations and other states according to state laws.
